Monitoring & evaluation
Training & education
Our technical support program is diverse but focused on aspects of humanitarian policy and programming. We support strategic planning processes, policy drafting, and technical and peer review processes across a range of partners.
Our monitoring and evaluation work has increasingly focused on measuring the effectiveness and impact of humanitarian action in the Asia-Pacific region. We have also undertaken evaluations in our special interest areas – protection and civil military interaction.
Our research has spanned country contexts from Bosnia to Malaysia to Vanuatu. We have covered issues from civil military coordination to child protection to private sector engagement in humanitarian action.
Our training and education program is designed to support practical learning. We work with our partners to develop programs that achieve concrete outcomes and contribute to improved humanitarian practice.
