Dr. Md. Nadiruzzaman

Dr. Md. Nadiruzzaman is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Environmental Management at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB), where he teaches Research Methodology, Disaster Management, Climate Change and Development, Livelihood Resilience, and Natural Resources Management. He completed a PhD in Human Geography titled ‘Cyclone Sidr and its Aftermath in Everyday Life, Power and Marginality’ at Durham University, UK, in 2013. Dr. Md. Nadiruzzaman’s previous experience in academic includes as an Associate Research Fellow at the University of Exeter’s College of Life and Environmental Sciences. His experience in the development sector includes his role as the Director of Learning, Research and Knowledge Management for the Nobo Jatra Program at World Vision Bangladesh.
