Louise joined HAG in February 2021 after eight years working in the international development sector, with extensive experience in managing the implementation and monitoring of grant-funded projects across the health, gender, WASH, disaster risk reduction and livelihoods sectors. Louise has worked in Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, Uganda, Ghana, Senegal and Zambia, and was also deployed to Mozambique in 2019 to support World Vision’s Southern Africa Flood and Cyclone Emergency Response program.
As an independent consultant, Louise has led program evaluations in Vanuatu/Papua New Guinea (gender-based violence) and Kenya (online training) and has experience in developing and re-examining Theory of Change and program logic models. Louise is passionate about harnessing data and research to drive improvements in the development and humanitarian sectors and brings her eye for detail, love of spreadsheets and strong research skills to the HAG team.
