As a researcher at HAG, Nidula supports the development and coordination of various projects from conception to publishing. With experience managing social programs, volunteering for humans rights and non-profit organisations, and a degree in international development practice, Nidula weaves multiple lens of inquiry into his work at HAG. For instance, his master’s thesis explored the feminist concept of ‘masculinism’, and used it to develop a framework to analyse and critique Australia’s international development philosophy. As a new HAG, Nidula hopes to pursue creative research projects that explore the intersections between humanitarianism, gender, climate justice, political economy, and cultural change. Previously, his work spanned game development & direction, and creative writing. As a storyteller at heart, he cherishes the diverse experiences and learning opportunities that working at HAG offers.
