Dr Campbell Aitken (PhD, BSc) is a freelance editor specialising in scientific, technical and academic material. He is also a senior research fellow at the Macfarlane Burnet Institute for Medical Research and Public Health, where he has worked since 1995, mostly on the epidemiology of the hepatitis C virus. He has authored or co-authored more than 100 articles in refereed scientific journals.
