Each year, government and civil society come together to discuss the implementation of Australia’s second National Action Plan (NAP) on Women, Peace and Security (WPS). The 2025 Government–Civil Society Dialogue on WPS took place on Wednesday 19 February 2025, in Canberra, Australia. The Dialogue included over 115 participants from government (implementing and non-implementing agencies), non-governmental organisations (NGOs), UN agencies, community-based organisations (CBOs), diaspora groups, academia, practitioners and private sector organisations. This report summarises each session of the Dialogue, including key learnings from each panel and concluding recommendations.
