Creating Communication That Works: Humanitarians and the climate crisis

Overview

Meaningful communication with the general public around the current and future impacts of climate change is complex, challenging and politicised. Environment and climate-focused agencies have been leading the charge on climate messaging for many years. This paper analyses how humanitarian agencies are communicating on climate change, and seeks to provide guidance on how the humanitarian sector can enhance messaging on climate change to promote wider engagement and action within the general public.
