Jesse began her career at HAG in January 2020, after completing an internship in the final semester of her graduate studies. She draws on experience in the not-for-profit sector, focusing primarily on sustainable development before transitioning into humanitarian research.
Jesse has previously worked on projects surrounding localisation, diversity and inclusion and humanitarian civil-military coordination. Her current work focuses on the humanitarian impact and response to climate change in the Pacific and humanitarian systems reform in Asia. She is passionate about elevating climate change as a humanitarian issue and seeking solutions to mitigate impacts and reduce the carbon footprint of the humanitarian sector.
