Jesse is a Leader with HAG. She draws on experience from the not-for-profit sector, before beginning her career with HAG in 2020. She leads HAG’s climate and environment portfolio, including research, policy analysis, and strategy development in areas of disaster management and response, disaster risk reduction, climate change adaptation, environmentally sustainable humanitarian and development programming and greening strategies.
She previously led HAG’s multi-year Greening the System research, which seeks to integrate climate and environmental considerations across the disaster management cycle in policy and programming. Jesse has also led multi-year research to support community resilience in the Pacific, across Fiji, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Tonga, PNG and Timor-Leste, and has led research exploring humanitarian reform processes in Indonesia. She also continues to support HAG’s localisation research and leads a diverse portfolio of client work. Jesse holds a Master of International Relations from the University of Melbourne.
